Colin L. Johnson, Bio
Imagine a dawn rising over the Cockpit Mountains of St. Ann, mist curling through the valleys, sunlight breaking across ancient limestone hills. The camera glides over Alva District, a quiet cradle of destiny, where the soil remembers the footsteps of Garvey, Marley, Bustamante, Miss Lou, Burning Spear, Shabba Ranks, and the mother who raised Harry Belafonte. In this landscape, a young Colin L. Johnson stands at the edge of a hillside path, the wind moving through the trees as if whispering the names of the giants who came before him. The scene carries the weight of inheritance; a mantle passed from generation to generation. A small church in Jamaica. Wooden pews. A young man serving with humility, learning the rhythms of faith, community, and calling. Then a plane ascending into the clouds. A new land. A new chapter. The frame opens to: Bethel Bible College, Kingston Extension, books open, notes scattered, a young leader sharpening his mind. Zion Bible Institute (now Northpoint University), snow falling outside Rhode Island windows, a season of stretching, shaping, and spiritual formation. A small church in Hillburn, NY, Colin preaching with conviction, hands lifted, people rising to their feet. A storefront sanctuary in Covington, GA, All Nations Temple being born, a vision taking shape. A Las Vegas desert sunrise, New Beginnings, a new assignment, a new people to serve. Hospital corridors. Scrubs. Purpose in motion. Colin walking with quiet strength through the medical field serving, supporting, uplifting the same heart, a different battlefield. Finally, the camera pulls back. A desk. A pen. A blank page. The birthing place of his voice. The beginning of the next chapter. The imagery closes with Colin standing on a ridge overlooking the Las Vegas valley at dusk city lights glowing beneath him, mountains rising behind him, a man still becoming, still rising, still guided by the God who authored his story. A life in motion. A legacy unfolding. A chapter the world has not yet seen.
